OK, son just called on this regarding a teammate.. . . A baseballplayers goes to a juco out of high school and plays one season. Season #2 - Gets injured and sits a season. Season #3 - Transfer to another juco and is finally healthy. Here is the question; Is there a new "rule" that states a player most complete a certain number of classes in his intended major before being eligible for transfer or to play at a D1 school? I never heard of anything like this, but that doesn't mean dokie. I'm thinking if he's taken 3 years of juco classes he'd better have enough classes in some major, even if a liberal arts degree.
