JUCO traveling

Outfielder, You would need to ask the JUCO in question to find out their particular driving arrangements. Just as with any other level, JUCOs will vary in how they transport. Some will use junky school vans, some small modern buses while others use large and fairly fancy buses. Perhaps there are some that even fly? Can't make a blanket statement about them anymore than someone can say DIs all have large buses available or fly every road trip.

True,ill ask some of the returing players since i started fall practice today but i would figure we should have some pretty nice buses because the campus is nice,2 turf fields and geting a turf infield in october so i know they make pretty nice bank compared to the other local jucos

On our JUCO team this past year, the college had a small van-bus they took to all the away games.

JUCO/D3........for the most part, for the shorter trips I see a lot of the 15 passenger school vans....anything over a couple hours I see charter coach buses.....

I would agree, most of the JUCO schools here in CA do take 15 passenger vans, but I also would suggest you contact the school you are interested in to see what their specific situation is.

Son's school last year also used (3) of the schools 15 pass vans for most trips. For the (2) longer ones (Cali trip and JUCO WS) they had a charter bus.

From my experience this is what happens:
Lower level JUCO: Kids drive their personal vehicle
Mid Level: 2 15 passenger vans with the coach driving
Top Level: Charter bus
You should also ask what type of accomidations the team has on away trips.
Do they stay in "flea bag" hotels or mid level (Hampton Inn) hotels? How many players per room? Some put 2 players per room, others have 3 in a room while I have heard of 4 players being in one room.
