I am assuming you are talking primarily about the Metroplex. Jason Pearce from Naaman Forest could sneak in to the later rounds. I have also heard rumors that a certain PESH Panther outfielder has attracted some attention.

Uncle Ethan -- it would be fun if Chris were drafted -- couldn't happen to a better kid. Regarding the NF kid....every year there are kids that may not get a lot of pro "attention" but their names are called in June. It's an intriguing process.

Fleece is a beast! I think he'll be an Aggie though.

Just curious.....How is Kyle Russell Draft Eligible? He is only a Sophmore.

If he was red-shirted and has turned 21, he is eligible (I think).

He graduated from Tomball in 2005. My Senior played against him his Soph year in the Playoffs.

Is Clark from UT draft eligible?

Kyle will be 21 on June 27th.

I watched him when he was a frosh and soph at my old high school before his family moved to Tomball. The dude can flat out play!

He was in right field, made a few good plays and hit the snot out of the ball, after the game I asked my old coach who it was in rt field, first thing out of his mouth was...."He's a freshman!"

RHP Barret Loux, Stratford is a definate HS prospect. After weeks off the mound, he pitched 1st playoff game in front of 50+ scouts, hitting 90-91 consistantly & topping at 93. Word is 6 different scouting directors were on hand.

Yes, I believe Clark is draft-eligible.

Walden is at Grayson J.C. Is he draft-eligible? and if so is he still a prospect? and if so when does the team that drafted him last year lose rights to him?

I think they can sign him up until a week before the 2007 draft. Yes, he is eligible and YES, he is a prospect.

The Rangers are watching Gary Poynter closely at Weatherford. He has signed with OU for the 2008 school year....and could be drafted again in June.

Well its up to the Rangers, Gary threw 91-94 mph Saturday afternoon. If not he is off to OU where he will finally have a pitching coach.
