Hey Ladies! I have been on the site for a couple on Months now but never to the Ladies Lounge. Nice idea. I have 2 boys a (make that three we have a toddler now too. lol) a Senior and a Junior. They both play ball but the older wants to stop after his Senior year. He does want to play summer ball but for fun. The Junior is all baseball! Lives and breathes it. He is finally at a point where we do not have to pay for lessons anymore. He is working at 2 baseball facilites and gets instruction free at times. At the very least he gets to hit. So nice after all of these years of making a car payment a month for lessons. LOL.
Then we have a toddler that I still forget to say that we have 3 kids. LOL. I quess all of these years of saying 2 has stuck with me. He loves baseball and music. He tries to get into their baseball bags and get their bats and balls out. He will be real fun this year at the games. He has an arm already.

Thanks for welcoming me in.

Sue,

It was fun to read about your boys. Such a cute picture in my mind of your little toddler wanting to be like the big boys, getting out their gear and trying to do whatever they do. It sounds like fun to have a toddler in the house, although it makes me a little tired to think about it! Wink

To continue the "how many kids" etc. theme, we have just two boys: a college soph RHP and a HS senior who will major in guitar next year. So we are soon to be empty nesters, but both boys are going to in-state colleges so we'll still see them often. (That made it so much easier when our oldest first moved away to college!)

Welcome to the Ladies Lounge!

It's funny I use to wonder what I would do when they boys went to college. God answered that question for me! LOL. It is not too tiring with one toddler but I cannot imagine having another child now at this time in our lives. We did the 2 real close together this time it is nice to experience just the one small one.

On the side of baseball for the little one. This morning after the post I made he went into his older Brother's room. he got all excited because he found some balls on the floor then he found a wooden bat. He lifted it up and almost fell over trying to swing that huge thing. LOL. His brother and and I were cracking up. the whole time he was saying "Yeah!".

It is nice to talk to Mom's of boys that have the same interests. Baseball can really consume your life so it makes it hard sometimes for my friends to understand.
Oh Yah....Welcome Sue,

Glad to have you aboard. Whoever invented this website was a brilliant individual. I have learned soooo much in my short time, and most of the posters are wonderful!

When you first said you had that toddler, I was thinking better you then me, but then you made the comment about the wood bat and it brought back fond memories. Lucky!

I've got two boys, both baseball crazy, 15 and 10. We'll see how it turns out.

Welcome, again. bigflower
Sue ...
hi welcome aboard (pun intended)

I enjoyed reading about your sons. Sounds like you have lots of fun times ahead of you, on and off the field.

If you have a chance, check out the FRAPPR site for HSBBWeb. Our beloved brown furry friend ... Bullwinkle ... set it up for us. We have had a lot of fun seeing where everybody lives and checking out the pictures of their beloved children, pets, hubbies/wives, and it makes us all feel more like a family than ever.

Welcome Sue

I remember the days of balls and bats with a toddler baseball7

Now I have a empty nest, my son is a only child.

We got a puppy but he likes balls and at Christmas break he proved he like baseball caps with oakleys on them Frown (Son wasn't to thrilled with pup's choice of snack). It's kinda like having a toddler everything that's in reach is subject to whatever they do to it. Confused
