Here's a scenario that's played out in thousands of families. You have a son or daughter who has talent,needs to be seen at showcases but the family does not have that couple of hundred dollars required for every showcase. So the kid does not get his due. What can that family do.

Talk to the people, at the events he wants to attend--they may have ways and means to make it work for him

Maybe player could get a job or find a local business to sponsor them. They may have to get a bit creative if this is the case.
