Lack of money coaching college ball

If you can live on 56K a year, and work part time, it can support a family.

Most college coaches do not make huge salaries, neither do managers and coaches at the lower levels in pro ball. Most families need two incomes to survive, coaches are no different.

Brother, if I could find a collegiate assistant job, starting out making $56,000, I am there...

The money that people talk about sports individuals making is really blown up. The people at the very top make great money, but the bottom does not.

I had an offer in the spring to be a GA at a division one school where I would have worked s****r one year and baseball the second. I would have made $10k stipend plus they would have paid for 6 credit hours a semester. Required to take 9 each semester which meant I'd have to pay for 3 credit hours each semester costing me ~$3k. Needless to say, I turned that down..
