Double Eagle

My son plays for Lafayette. He will be a junior this fall. The baseball program just came off their best season ever, winning the Patriot League Championship and going to the regionals at UVA. They graduated 8 seniors this year. Two of 4 weekend starters, the catcher and the starting outfield. They should still be very competitive next year even with those losses as the infield will remain in tact. They have a pretty good hitting nucleus returning and if a couple of pitchers can step up they wil be fighting for the conference title again next year. They play a competitive non-conference schedule, the coach seems to like small ball but that may be based on the talents they have had.

The school and campus ar very nice, small classes and an excellent graduation rate. It is expensive and they don't give baseball scholarships so you have to have solid grades and financial need to get academic or grant money.

I hope this helps.
