You will get a wide range of opinions about Liberty. I would hate to take one single opinion and use that as the basis of anything.

We took our youngest son there for a visit last fall. We knew that it was a fundmentalist Babtist College, but we had no idea the extent of what that really meant.

For the most part it is a nice new campus. The kids were relatively divererse with a wide range of backgrounds. However, the overriding culture is that of its heritage.

Going to Liberty comes with a set of expectations and rules that are truly unique. Everything from lockdown curfew, required small group faith meetings, 3 times weekly required convocation (church) and a restrictive dress code.

Good luck!

Please seek out many opinions because the school is unique.
I saw them play in person four times last year and I was very impressed. Offensively, they can hit with the very best teams in the country imho. Like many teams, they could use a wee bit more pitching imho. Their new coach is supposedly one of the best recruiters in the country. They are a program that can recruit nationally because of their religious affilation and had several California players on their roster. JT works for Liberty and I am sure he can provide much more info.
