Little League 9-10 district. Team A is visitors. Team B is home. Top of 6th. Team B is ahead 2-0. Man on 3rd. One out. Lights go out. Seems light switch is on pole outside of field. Kids playing around turn off lights. We have to wait 20 minutes before lights come on and we finish game.

How long should officials wait before calling game if lights cannot be turned back on? What is the result based on Fed or OBR? (Under Little League it would have been a complete game and reverted back to the score at the end of the 5th.)

Whatever amount of time the umpires deem reasonable. For example, Mercury vapors take take 5 to 10 minutes to cool down enough before they will begin to restrike, then 3 to 5 minutes to come back up. If all you had to do was restart them that is 15 minutes minimum. I was working a plate one night and the ice machine overheated the breaker panel and caused part of the lights to go out. I had to go in and replace several breakers myself because I was the only one with the knowledge to do it.
