In keeping with my thread that the grass is always greener on the other side of the fence, my husband is going to rent an apartment in the Monroe HS district which will allow my son to play for their baseball team. They are in need of a pitcher and an outfielder, since the transfer of Almonte and his friend to Florida.
This is a great opportunity because they have a much more rigorous schedule than the high schools on Long Island.
This should help the Monroe program achieve their goal of a city championship. Hopefully, the grass will be greener in the Bronx, that is if we can find some grass. I will keep you updated...
