"Heads-Up Baseball: Playing the Game One Pitch at a Time" by Ravizza and Hanson a primer on the mental approach.
Infield08, the author is H.A. Dorfman. One book that isn't really about mental preperation, but makes you think about the game differently is Moneyball, by Michael Lewis.
