There was an interesting article last weekend in the Dallas Morning News comparing the choice of playing Little league vs Select Baseball. I have been involved with both and by far Select Baseball was the most enjoyable, however Little League was the most rewarding because not all your players could catch and throw with ease. Are we destroying the development of our younger players with so many coaches attempting to do Select Teams? Maybe there is a place for Little League that we are not taking advantage of as select coaches as a developmental opportunity.
