Looking for fall team for high school junior

First question...where the 'ell is Dalzell?

The burgeoning metropolises of Peru, Princeton, Mendota, Ottawa, and Morris I have heard of (and even been to a couple of them), but Dalzell is a real mystery.

Some of the high schools out in the general area you describe will field a team for the fall and enter them in the White Sox Academy fall league.

Some of these teams may round out their roster with players from another school. I'm trusting the good folks in Dalzell are in good standing with the folks in surrounding communities and would welcome your son to their team.

I'm certain there are other organizations in the Chicago Metro area that offer fall leagues as well.

You'll get plenty of responses. Everyone will want to know where the 'ell Dalzell is!

I looked up Dazell on the map. It turns out I have been to Dazell as I zipped along on I-80 through LaSalle-Peru.

Dazell is a suburb wedged between Spring Creek and the airport.

Now I know where the 'ell Dazell is!

Thanks for the reply, gotwood4sale. Yep...most people wouldn't notice Dalzell even if they tried to look for it while on interstate 80...maybe they would notice the water tower. It has about 600 people, but still has a grade school and 1 restaurant.

I'm even interested in the Peoria area or Bloomington area if anyone has a team there.

Gotwood talked about the White Sox Fall League. Double Headers in the South and West Burbs. Did it last year and 2012 had a blast. Going back again to make new friends. From L/P area it is less than 90 minutes. There was a team in the JV division last year with 5 players from Byron.

Thanks. Do they have a website, and tryouts soon? I have a feeling we'll be traveling if my son wants to play.
