Great article ... and it confirms what we have heard from Justin Germano on the Padres (a former player for my husband's travel teams and still friend) ... that Greg Maddux is always working with the youngsters, giving advice etc. I can't imagine how cool it myst be for a young player to sit next to a future hall of famer on the bench in the dugout and have the opportunity to learn from him during the course of a game.
Also, for those who may not know it, the former scout who took the grainy video of the young Mr Maddux is our beloved Doug McMillan, who also is the father of deemax, who started this thread.
Deemax ... hope your family is well. We definitely miss your dad on this board ... a voice of sanity which we could sorely use occasionally. By the way, where is Brett this year?
