"I'll get killed for saying this ... but I'm not so against steroids if they're administered under proper supervision and there is no long-term damage," Cuban said.

Banned substances are already used by players when deemed medically necessary when properly documented by a medical doctor. There are many MLB players who use ADHD medication, which under normal circumstances is banned for use.

Things that make you go, hmmmmmmm
Does it make you wonder if players are getting declared ADHD so they can take an otherwise illegal substance?

Some people (Mitchell Report) seem to think so because there is a bigger percentage of MLB players who are declared ADHD than are in the general population. I personally just think that kids with ADHD are generally drawn to sports.

The interesting thing about the ADHD medications are that if someone who is not ADHD were to take them they would be bouncing off the walls. However, the medication has the opposite effect on those with ADHD.

I am not so against them either, not for gaining power purposes, but for injury recovery, if necessary and under a doctor's supervision. But I think he was talking more like HGH steroids. From my understanding, he just said what some others are thinking.

You might be surprised how many pro baseball players have undergone testing for an Rx for ritalin, once perscribed, you are right, it's legal.

Did you see the guys painting their fingernails with wite out last night, cheap high to help you stay alert.
Steroids for medical use covers a widespread range of drugds for a widespread range of injuries and disease. I know he was referring to enhancing performance by quicker recovery but...

I am currently taking a pile of Prendisone (a steroid), very commonly prescribed. Now if only I had the energy to lift, I would be a house... instead I have grown a round face and a "bigger" spare tire Wink Eek
