both teams look pretty equal, both teams played well, kilcrease had more K's but walked a few and gave up a few key hits. the woodlands are obviously good, and round rock has to prove themselves tonight or they'll be buying tickets for the dell in june.

Corpus Christi Moody defeats C.C. Calallen 3-2 in Game 2, tying the series. Moody third-baseman Ronnie Flores hit a bases-loaded single with two outs in the bottom of the 10th to win the game in front of more than 5,000 fans. Moody won despite a stellar pitching performance by Calallen's Sean Hoelscher, who threw 8.1 innings, striking out 16 and walking only 1. TCU-bound Hoelscher was pulled after 123 pitches. The drama continues!

Moody, the 5A state champion just 2-3 years ago, moved down to 4A just this year and will be a force to be reckoned with as it advances through the playoffs.
