Not only that, reading the article, if NCAA would go to wood, the Bat manufacturers would be up in arms. Although I think it would be great.

Coaches with fat bat/equipment contracts ain't gonna like it either.

I believe we addressed this earlier but if not, it is still intriguing.

It's certainly to MLB's advantage, as they have discovered, to draft college experienced players. Thus, helping colleges thru perhaps a few more scholarships, could be a win-win-win situation.

How MLB would approach that relationship, and how it would be monitored, will be interesting to see.

This has been discussed for 20 years.

Maybe NCAA or MLB are serious this time. If it happens, you can "count on" wood bats
and MLB eliminating one "Rookie" minor league team for each ML team.

Huge cost savings.

The benefit would be the "Indy" Leagues [30 additional teams] and the education of player, who remains in college before signing.
