But seriously, I have added 5 forums in the past few months due to member requests (Going Pro, Golden Threads, Hitting, Pitching, Catching) and it seemed to be too long of a list to keep all of those under the GENERAL category. Several other members have commented that the new organization works well (segregating the "SKILLS and TIPS" forums), but if you have any suggestions, I am open to them!

Obviously I cannot comply with all requests, because some opinions will differ (does that ever happen around here?). But member suggestions very often lead to improvements!

I have already commented previously that I like the new format.

Curious if people know how much a typical JAVA programmer makes? It is probably around 75-100 an hour. MN-MOM does these changes for FREE. These are actual software changes and do not occur without expending considerable time. How many out there are willing to offer their services for free? It would be nice to also see some appreciation once and awhile.

I like it, and I'm not saying that to bug Linear.

That's just a side benefit.

For what it may or may not be worth I like the separation of forums---it works well from what I have seen

With all the new forums I have had to change my style of hitting. I used to be a linear hitter where I just started at the top and clicked right down the line thru all the forums. But now I have become a rotational hitter where I just rotate thru the list in order of my favorite forums. What type of hitter are you?

If I may answer:

A combination of linear and rotational seem to have worked best for my own hitting experience so I believe I will listen to redbird5's advice and follow the straight and narrow back down to some other threads and rotate around a few times. What's good for the goose is good gander.
