As a Sheriffs Deputy (who works in the Meth capital of N. Texas), most people have no idea how terrible this drug is. It's not just a drug for the poor country folk anymore. It's invading the rich neighborhoods of Frisco, Mckinney and Flower Mound. I haven't looked at my personal stats, but I dare say that besides Marij, Meth is the most "common" drug I run into.
Just a terrible drug that destroys everyone involved in it.
We had a meth epidemic here in the Spokane area and these addicts will do ANYTHING to get more meth. There were stories of grandkids shaking down their grandparents, a spike in prostitution, car breakins through the roof.. one little kid drown in the bathtub while mom was getting high with her friends. The rage has subsided a lot since then but folks, get the word out to your community.. Meth is heinous and EVIL.
There's a meth epidemic in the North Georgia mountains. Our Governor has been holding town meetings all around Georgia on the subject. You're right, Bum. This is a terrible drug that makes people do terrible things to get it.
