That is a very nice story and shows the good side of baseball. I am still shaking my head over the senselessness and the severity of the attack.
indieldad, thanks for the inspirational story. it's nice to hear stories like this instead of only the negative. there are still a lot of great people in this world that care as much for others as they do themselves. i only hope that the people in the san francisco area continue to give support and aid to this family. i am also sure that there are others that are doing things behind the scene that we don't even hear about. it was just a great read early in the am.
