Sort of an interesting acquisition. Will other player agencies look towards networking with amateur programs? Or is it already happening elsewhere?

This is the trend. Baseball followed the soccer academy model and uses golf technologies.
this is interesting, i think it is obviously a business play. i guess it ultimately is pipeline for talent to represent, i don't see how they can make any money on an operational level but maybe i am wrong.
it seems pretty clear they didn't purchase the MSI complex which would be a much larger investment. They reference a partnership so they probably have some sort of lease agreement worked out for them to make the needed investments in turf and so forth. That facility has a couple 50/70 fields and some soccer / lacrosse type fields besides the 2 regulation BB fields not sure where they would fit into the future.
