So awhile back last year sometime around August i purchased a MAXbat from www.maxbats.com. I used it say...maybe once every weekend in the cages until now. (excluding the months of December and November) It is now February. Today in baseball class i was taking batting practice in the cages with my wood bat from a kid who was lobbing balls in there at maybe 40 mph (thats being generous). So last pitch i hit the ball on the outside of the bat with the grain (where your supposed to hit it) and the bat breaks midway between the handle and the barrel. After examining the crack i noticed that the crack went with the grains which i thought was weird. This is a maple bat and cost me 70 something dollars. Do you think i have any shot at a refund?
