AAU Names Nate Sevier Director of Central District Baseball.

Nate Sevier, a former starting professional pitcher with the Joliet Jackhammers who previously played in the San Diego Padres and Seattle Mariners Organizations, recently was named the Director of AAU's Central District Baseball.

Sevier pitched a no-hitter in 2007, while with the Jackhammers. A California native, Sevier is the Director of Sports Performance at Slam Sports Performance. Sevier and partner Dennis Blackmon, previously of the Boston Red Sox organization, recently announced plans to form the Slam AAU Club Baseball program for the 2010 season.
