I thought this would be a tough regional in Fort Worth but be honest, how many of you had ORU and DBU in the finals????? DBU has beaten some good teams this year and might be able to go to Omaha. The would play the winner of the Houston Regional that Baylor is undefeated and waiting for Rice and Cal to finish. So if Baylor wins and DBU wins would they play the Super Regional in Waco?

I haven't even mentioned Texas and the issues they are having with Kent State.

With ORU eliminating TCU today, Baylor will be at home next weekend with a win tonight or tomorrow.

If DBU makes it to Omaha, it will be the best baseball story in quite some time.

Its just a theory, but I believe the new bats are equaling things out among the "powers" and the "also rans." I believe it will do the same thing in the high school game next year. Frankly, I'm looking forward to it. People will have to be able to manufacture runs more than ever.

The super regionals are going to have unfamiliar names there. I think I'll like it.

loved tweet I read from BA writer re: DBU vs TCU recap - "....DBU pitching coach just told me Jared Stafford carved up TCU with an 81-83 mph fastball, a slider, curve, and change on any count."

Who says you have to throw 90?

Jared's been a winner from day one. Did it in select, high school and now at DBU. Congrats to him and the whole DBU program!
