The jinx is over. MMWS showed up for the game and MMWS pitched a good 8 innings, even though he got a no decision.
ASU got their first hit in the 8th inning and ended up scoring 10 runs in the top of the 10th to win 12-3.

ASU plays again tomorrow night at 6:30 against Columbus State.
ASU lost tonight 5-4. We play Southern Indiana at 2:30 tomorrow
WOOHOO!!!!!!! Finally got that monkey off of my back!!!!! Apparently most of the team was really worried since I showed up, but they did a great job of keeping the other team off of the board.
We had to leave this morning to come back home. If they are fortunate enough to make it to "THE" game, I'm headed back.

Just checked the website. After THREE innings, Southern Indiana 11, Angelo State 10. 21 runs, 22 hits, 1 error and the game is only 1/3 completed.
This one may end up 32 - 31.

ASU did lose today 12-10. After the 4th inning, things settled down and defense kicked in for both teams.
It was a fun ride for the boys. 51-20 is something to be proud of. In 3 years of the program they won 30, 41, and now 51 games. Maybe they can go for 60 next year,
I guess it is time to finally go home and back to work.
