I recently posted this in the after high school forum also, but this one gets more traffic so here we go.

I am in charge of recruiting for the new Triple Crown College Summer League in Fort Collins CO. Here are some of the details of the league:

-4 team league located Fort Collins, CO
-The League is free for players
-Wood-bat League, players must supply own bats
-League schedule is being finalized, but will run from the end of May-July
-Because the league is free, catchers must supply their own gear
-All League games will be played on brand-new Triple Crown field located off Horsetooth & Timberline
-Each team plays 4 games a week, double-headers on Saturday and Sunday, so that leaves the week open for players to work or take summer classes
-Each team has one night practice a week, all other practice and workouts must be done on each player's own
-Players competing come from NCAA, NAIA, and Junior Colleges
-Some housing is available if needed, players would have to pay between $150-200 a month plus utilities, would have between 5-7 roommates (depending on how many bedrooms the house has)
-Post season all-star team will compete in a National Tournament

I would suggest that you contact Major Mike Kazlausky (Assnt Coach, United States Air Force Academy) in Colorado Springs. Because of scheduling difficulties (Cadets don't get summers off... they have on campus duties, running Basic Training, etc, as well as OPS assignments), you might find them very interested in speaking with you:

I know they are looking for creative venues for their players to get summer experience, and with the close proximity of Fort Collins to COS, they might be able to get you some very motivated players.

A kid from USAFA was just permitted to play NBA ball, and there is word that at least one of this year's Seniors is draft eligible from the baseball team. Therefore they are attempting to get their players "more reps"...

You can PM to me if you would like.
