I do like your "get it and go" style though, can't stand human rain delays!
Its not the pitch count thats getting me, its just plain hard to sleep doing this..
Anyone can" get it and go," the good ones" get it and shove".
not a rain delay guy either...lol.

And the pay and benefits aren't too bad either!

No wonder Kosuke had a rough 2nd half, growing up like that must be exhausting!
I realize I am somewhat late to this thread(and not interested in most of it). Thought I would tell you all a little about the organization in my community, the Bloomington-Normal Baseball Association. Many of you are certainly familiar with the Bloomington Gold travel team that participates in many of the same tournaments as all your teams.
The BNBA was formed by parents a few years ago after the end of the Twin Cities Legion program. Each year there is a tryout for any interested players from the 5 intercity high schools(Bloomington, Normal, Normal West, U-High and Central Catholic). They usually end up with 3 18U teams(Gold, Blue, Silver), 3 or 4 16U teams and 3 or 4 15U teams. The top players from each level generally make up the Gold team for that age group.
I would venture a guess that those of you that have seen your son's travel teams play any Bloomington Gold team in the last few years would agree that the Gold is fairly competitive with most of your teams.
A pretty simple program that produces some pretty good baseball competition with relatively few problems.
I love Bloomington-Normal.

CentralIL, I've seen some of your teams play. Some good teams/players! We (Daughter's fastpitch team) play 2-3 tournaments per year in Bloomington so I've seen more than one or two baseball games while waiting for her to play. (At Normal West HS)
BNBA also runs a nice little fall league. Not sure if there's anything else in the Central IL area but there should be plenty of players in the Peoria-Bloomington-Normal area for a lot of fall ball.
I'll second the BNBA being a good organization to work with.
As far as the fall, Peoria has the Second Season Wood Bat League. It would probably be a good idea to combine with Bloomington. Would make both leagues deeper and more competitive.

CentralIL – I love Bloomington-Normal Too!
GO SAINTS!
GO SAINTS!
Ben we have 2 leagues here, the Riverton League and the Lincoln Land League each have apx 12 teams and would be much better combining and even better combining all of us, an hour drive each Sunday for DH is not bad.
