Hey everybody,
Im currently investigating colleges and would like to know more about high school/college showcases located in the northeast, preferably located in New York. Any information would be greatly appreciated. Thanks- PP10

TR's group College Select holds 2 every summer, one in CT around early July then in Binghamton later in the summer. Blue Chip Prospects usually has a few on Long Island and I hear there will be one in the beginning of June in Dutchess CO, that information is not out on yet. Perfect Game will be hosting a tournament on Long Island the end of June and hold a tremendous event in Wareham MA in August (over 100 coaches).
Other then that you have to travel.

You definitely need to consider the showcase(s) that Mr. Tom Rizzi of College Select has to offer. My son was at the showcase last August in Binghamton, NY. He was talked to by Tufts University, and then contacted by the University of Rochester. We are leaving the first thing in the morning, Feb. 11, to attend Rochesters annual Athletic Recruiting Brunch which is co-hosted by the Athletics & Recreation and the Admissions Office.
If it wasn't for the opportunity that Mr. Rizzi gave my son in participating in his event, my son wouldn't be considering this university. I also know of several players at that event that did sign with other D3, D2 and D1 universities. One family I talked with while at Binghamton, their son signed with Villanova.
My son also attended a Perfect Game event, so give yourself as many opportunities as possible, and don't forget about going to several college camps that you are interested in as well.
