Congratulations to Lucas Olen (Bedford/BHS) for recording his first college win. The SNHU freshman earned the win by pitching 2 perfect innings of relief in a come from behind win over Mercyhurst. He's sporting a 0.00 ERA early on as is Nate Jones (Portsmouth/PHS) - sophomore at Wake Forest. Jones has already appeared in 4 games for the Deamon Deacons. Connor Lyons (Bedford/Trinity) got the start in CF for Northeastern today against the Red Sox in the innagural game at their new Spring Training Home - Jet Blue Field. The Huskies didn't fare so well, but Connor has a moment I'm sure he won't soon forget.

Nick Poore of Salem also pitched two solid innings of relief for the BC Eagles against the Sox today. It's always great to see NH/NE kids having the ability to showcase their talent.

Nick Kevlin of Kennett High School has been named the closer for Dominican College. in New York. He earned his first save this week in Flordia. He is attending Dominican on a scholarship.

Christian Ferlan from BG is off to a great start in his Freshman year at Muhlenberg College. He's now 2-0. In his first action against Catholic University, he came into a tie game in the 7th and pitched 4 scoreless including a K with the winning run on 3rd in the 9th. In his first start against Emerson College today in Fort Myers he went 8 strong innings giving up 3 runs as Muhlenberg rolled 20-3 (although when he called I'm pretty sure he said 20-6, but the box score says otherwise).
