Northwest Missouri State, or Missouri Southern State?

My friend plays s****r at Missouri Southern and he said he enjoys the school.Know thats not helpful but the school and social life apparently arent too bad in the viewpoint of a student

Northwest Missouri state is a competetive DII with a strong standing of hometown supporters. Head coach Darin Loe has former pro experience and brings that knowledge to his team.

NW Missouri has great football tradition!
Rod Smith, Denver Broncos, played for Missouri Southern.

Neither Maryville or Joplin are spectacular towns, but Joplin is MUCH warmer and close to a lot of nice big lakes.

I grew up in Springfield,Mo and love SW Missouri.

All else being equal, baseball-wise, Missouri Southern is a much nicer place!

I don't know if this applies to you, but my brother went to another MIAA school and the area wasn't friendly to minorities.

Other than that, the MIAA is one of the most competitive D2 conferences in most sports.

I heard that Missouri Southern will be getting a new indoor facility for baseball and a new baseball field in two years. The new president is wanting to upgrade the facilities. The new indoor facility will be 70 yards long and have 4-5 70 foot cages with 4 indoor mounds along with a huge indooor net that surounds the entire indoor field. It will be enough to have most of a complete practice in there. The new baseball field will be astro turf with locker rooms for both the teams and coaches offices. The indoor facility will be done by late spring or early summer and the new field will be completed by the spring of 2011.
