I'm away (off at school) and as a result am unable to catch any NR games. I was hoping anyone that catches the games could update this thread to talk about any games where a player has a particularly strong outing/ day at the plate. It would be nice to know which kids are having great years back home. Thanks.

Strong pitching in last week's opener for Chantilly and Yorktown. Bill Boyle of Chantilly pitched 5 shutout innings, yielding only 1 hit and 2 walks. Yorktown's lefty Dean Johnson also had a shutout through five and was still pitching when it was 1-1 at the end of 7. Yorktown tried to squeeze 8 out of him, but it was a mistake. Final was 6-1, with several of the runs in the 8th unearned.
