Just wanted to announce that 1B/C. Drew Fann of the No.1 ranked Oakland High Patriots [ranked 26th nationally by Baseball America] has decided to commit to walking on at Vanderbilt and play for the Commodores.
Fann's a solid player and a great student and is the kind of player that Vanderbilt coach Tim Corbin values.
Fann becomes the fourth Patriots senior headed to a D1 baseball program in the fall, joining P.J. Polk [Tennessee], Tyler Burnett [MTSU], and Marcus Barnes [Memphis].
Congrats to these four Patriots and to Fann, on being the class valedictorian.
