Official visit?

Hi everyone.
I'm a senior in HS, recently I received an email from a college recruiter (I'm really hesitant to use any names). Content of the email included the normal reasons why I should attend the school, but at the end of the email the coach said that they'd love to have me visit if I'm interested and to contact him so they can set a visit up. Does this sound like what would be an official visit?

Could be. Give him a call and find out. If its a school you're really interested in...why not either way?

Part of the process of finding the right match is to visit a number of schools. You are allowed 5 official visits so pick the official ones carefully. If the school is close you are better to make it unofficial and save up the official visits for those a longer distance away.

Going on several visits before your "dream school" is going to help a lot since you will become more comfortable with the process and it will be easier to ask the more difficult questions once you have done them a few times.
