I am offering baseball lessons in the Virginia Beach area. I can do private lessons or group/team lessons. I have extensive prior experience working with ballplayers from elementary age up through high school.

Lessons are typically given at Cape Henry Collegiate School (weather permitting). We use the bullpen mounds or the open practice field area. However, if you have a different facility in the Great Neck area or closeby that you would rather use, we can discuss that option. My prices already include the cost of having a catcher at the field to catch your bullpen.

I have over 18 years of baseball experience. Here are some of my previous accomplishments:
-former pitcher in the Chicago Cubs minor league system
-drafted by the Chicago Cubs in the 2013 MLB Draft
-played baseball at Princeton University and graduated in 2013
-Ivy League Pitcher of the Year in 2012
-Ivy League Conference Champions in 2011
-Texas High School All-State in 2009

I live in the Great Neck area and call Virginia Beach home. I work full time during the week, so the only time that I give lessons is on the weekends. Contact me if you would like to schedule something so we can work out a good time.

I charge a flat rate of $60 per hour. It does not matter if it is an individual or a group.

I am an expert in pitching instruction, but can also offer hitting and fielding instruction upon request.

Please call or email with any questions - thanks!

Zak,

Congrats on the minor league career.  I've been following you since you left college baseball at P.  You are a tremendous competitor and talent as I saw you pitch a number of times against my oldest son's college team in same conference and Gehrig division.  If we lived in VB, you'd have my business.  Best of luck with everything going forward.

I am offering baseball lessons in the Virginia Beach area. I can do private lessons or small group lessons. I have extensive prior experience working with ballplayers from elementary age up through college. In just the past year, I have worked with many travel teams, high schoolers, and rec league kids from the area. If you would like references of ballplayers I have worked with, I would be happy to provide them.

I give my lessons at an indoor facility off of Witchduck Rd - less than 1 mile from highway 264. We never have to worry about the weather since it is indoors. Available lesson times are on Saturday/Sunday during the late afternoon/evening. The facility is 40' x 50' and has two batting cages plus a portable mound. The entire facility is turfed and so is the mound. The cages are about 40' long and the mound can be extended to as long as 56' to pitch into a target mat. It is perfect for mechanical work during the offseason!
