Pulled off Vanderbilt website....

Nashville, Tenn. - The Vanderbilt Baseball Omaha Challenge is a rite of fall for the Commodores. The team divides into four teams (listed below) and competes in various events over a four-day period with team awards and personal awards for the top performing player and pitcher overall. The Challenge started in a cold November rain on Tuesday with the Prowler Push and Pull. During the Push, players must push the Prowler, loaded down with 270 pounds, 90 yards. On the Pull, players must pull the Prowler, still loaded down with 270 pounds, via rope 20 yards.

Nashville, Tenn. - The Commodores continued the Omaha Challenge on Wednesday afternoon with three events. First up was the dumb bell bench press where pitchers worked with 60-pound dumb bells and position players worked with 80-pound weights. Next was the Farmer's Walk with players having to grab 45-pound weights in each hand walk as far as possible before dropping a weight. The final event of the day was the Prowler Pull, only this time the Prowler was attached to players with a harness and weighed in around 140 pounds.

Nashville, Tenn. - Day 3 of the Omaha Challenge brought a tough cardio da
ny to the table with the 300-yard Shuttle and the 2-Minute Drill. The 300-yard Shuttle is exactly what it sounds like, 300 yards of running as fast as you can, 50 yards down and 50 yards back three times. The 2-Minute Drill is one of the toughest of all the Omaha Challenge events. Referred to as the 'Grand Daddy' players start off with box jumps followed by a dead lift of 225 pounds then pull-ups and finishing up with cleaning and squatting a 50-pound medicine ball. Oh and all four events are max effort (meaning as many reps as you can do) for 30 seconds (hence the 2-Minute Drill) with 10 seconds between events.

Nashville, Tenn. - The Commodores wrapped up their annual Omaha Challenge on Friday with The Obstacle Course. The event was held inside the football stadium with players starting out on the field and ascending the stadium stairs to the finish. On the field, players jumped hurdles then pushed an unweighted sled 10 yards down and back, shuttled a 50-pound medicine ball 10 yards down and back, pulled a 45-pound sled 10 yards down and back before dragging huge chains 10 yards down and back before finishing with 75 rows of bleachers... all in under three minutes or in overall champion Conrad Gregor's case under two minutes.
The "Omaha Challenge" is not one specific course or program. There are dozens of schools that all have a similar program and that call it the "Omaha Challenge".

There isn't one itinerary that all schools follow, but if you're trying to create one do a YouTube search for it and pick and choose the events that you like the most.
