oldbat - Please send our regards from Allen. Marcus is a good team that would have gone much further than some of the teams getting most of the press on this site. If we had next year's UIL rules in place for this year, we would observed that very thing.

Every time I read about another signing, I can't help but think of a couple of parents smiling, knowing that all the time, travel, money, etc. was worth it.

You are so right TBirddad! I feel the same when I read about signings whether I know the player or not.......it is a dream fulfilled for these young men.

And not knowing what next year will bring for my son (senior year) I will say right now that even if all he has is HS baseball and Select it was worth every bit of it as I would never trade the memories, the friends and the time my husband and I have had with him during this journey. And if by chance he does go on after HS it will be a continuation of his dream and ackowledgement of his hard work.
