what is the advantage of using an open web in the outfield. I have had an easton EPS70 12.5 w/ a closed web and it works fine but i see most pro of have open webs

far as i know its just personal preference...
Ok, I know gloves do make a little of a difference, but come one- how much? If the glove fits and is flexible, you should make the plays. I HATE it when people drop or error the ball and then say, "It's the glove." Maybe a certain web would last longer or in the Majors they need to glove to be as light as possible and open is lighter. I don't know.
