That said, I don't need to read the rest of the article to know what he was going to say. Basseball no longer enjoys the higher TV ratings? No longer the national pastime in view of more popular sports like football and NASCAR?

My answer to that is so what...

I have worried about baseball declining but when you attend a game, you find out there is little to worry about. Baseball will likely always be the summertime sport of choice and leasure. People do not sit in front of their TV's in the summer. They get out and do things. They have their kids play baseball/softball and they themselves attend baseball games. I suppose if baseball eventually loses out to some other summertime sport like soc-cer, then there may be cause for concern. Until then, get out and enjoy a game.

Here is a big tip, go to a minor league game. They are extraordinarily fun and affordable. I believe if John Miller were to go, his view might be different.
