Out of the mouths of Grandkids

Mine isn't a grandhild, but a five year old niece. She didn't want to start kindergarten, but went to the first day.

Came home that night and informed us that it was "excellent. I think I'll go back tomorrow!"

At 4U, it's all about flexing the "guns"

Me - "So, which one is your favorite?"  Her - "Swimming.  It's not only a sport.  It's a verb!"

Finishing dinner at the buffet...  3 y.o. grandson is reaching his limit...

Me - "So, is your belly full?"  Him, reaching down and and feeling his belly, realizing that it is, in fact, very full, but knowing we haven't hit the dessert bar yet... "Yeah, but I still need to do my arms."

 

I thought I was the only one who fills up my arms. Great minds......! :-)
