How did Schaefer do and the rest of Crusaders?

They beat LWEast in a doubleheader with both games decided with walk-off home runs. #29, a little righthanded hitting outfielder for Rice, hit the ball on the nose to tie the first game and then Fazy, a little lefthander, hit a fly ball to left that carried out. In the second game, after the first baseman misplayed a foul popup, the lefthanded hitter drilled a rocket to right center with two on and that was the ball game.

Watched Schaeffer. He got hbp; walked a couple of times and struck out swinging. He definitely can't run. Did he injure his legs or something?

With all the errors and walks and the gale, it was tough to gauge very much about either team, although it appeared that the BR coach knew who not to pitch to.

The backstop at Rice is due to a lack of room to do anything bigger. However it is better than St. Francis Desales who did not have a backstop and we used a cone for a backstop. I would not call Fazy and Eble (29) small either. They are both very strong, especially Eble. Schaeffer is just slow...no injuries.

eble is a small kid. looks may be deceiving he prolly is strong but still small.
