Patriot District Tournament

It was a tight battle during district play. All teams were beating eachother throughout the season. No real obvious winners this year. Even Lake Braddock seems vulnerable. Should be an interesting tournament.

Monday, May 13th, 1^st round

Game 1: Lee beat West Springfield, 5-4

Game 2: Woodson beat Annadale, 3-2

Wednesday, May 15^th, Quarterfinals

Game 3: TC beat Lee, 9-2

Game 4: South County beat Woodson, 7-5

Friday, May 17^th, Semi-Finals: both games @ Lake Braddock

Game 5: TC Williams vs Lake Braddock, 5pm

Game 6: South County vs West Potomac, 8pm

Monday, May 20^th, Finals @ Lake Braddock

Game 7: Winner game 5 vs. Winner game 6, 6:30pm

Word is slowly starting to leak out regarding Patriot District all-team picks. Alec Grosser, Paul McClure, and Thomas Rogers were named as three of the first team pitchers. Where can a complete list of award winners be found?

Not sure if it is published anywhere but if I get ahold of it - I will share. I am pretty sure I heard Rodgers didn't get pitcher. He got DH 1st team.

Grosser did pitch and I believe he pitched at least four innings. One of the Lee boys hit a two-run home run off of him. A good memory for that player.
