I don't have any idea. The family spent the weekend a couple of weekends back in Peoria and didn't get to go to the waterfront. I was looking forward to that. However, daughter was playing in the USSSA Women's World Series and the schedule didn't work out. Daughter's team came in 3rd so still good weekend. However, had to play 5 in a row on Sunday. Wish I could spend a weekend in Peoria and take in some of the sights. Huge Pro Bass Shop that I'd love to get lost in.

"There used to be a pizza place in the Northwoods Mall where you could buy slices. Back in the 80s. What was it called?"

Was this guy the owner of the 'buy-by-the-slice' pizzeria in the Northwoods Mall? I think his heirs closed up shop about 10 years ago. Often times when ordering his pizza 'To Go' you would get home, open the box, and only find this !

I did get a tip that individual 'Take 'N Bake' slices of this darn good pizza will be available within the next six months or so at County Market®. You're gonna' hafta' make a wide track to Pontiac to snag an oven-ready piece. Hoo boy...fire up the oven!

BiggerPapi, I just cracked myself up. I noticed that I typed Pro Bass Shop and not Bass Pro Shop. DUH! I go to the Cabelas' in St. Louis a few times a year but love the Bass Pro Shops. My wife and I have never been down to the river front but every year when we are in Peoria, we always say we're going. I hope to be there next spring. My daughter playes in the GLVC and so their conference tournament is in East Peoria.
