Not sure whether this fits better in the California forum or this one . . .

It looks like Perfect Game is teaming up with CCYB to run the CCYB leagues? See, for example:

Do you think this will improve the quality of CCYB? I would think the PG brand will add a lot of luster to CCYB, which traditionally didn't have strong teams (to say the least).

For PG, they are clearly making a big push into California, where they have traditionally been virtually non-existent . . .

I heard about this too from a travel coach.  It sounds like a good idea if it increases the quality of competition and reliability of games from what was CCYB alone.  The selling point is supposed to be the kids on the teams that play in the league will get entered into the PG database and that the league will select top players and provide recognition.

For the HS level players, the Fall is the period to do this.  Just schedule those Sunday games to get the players ABs, innings to pitch and opportunities to stay sharp.
