No predictions but Southlake Carroll should be pretty solid. They return their entire infield with the exception of 2B and pretty much their entire pitching staff less one starter from a year ago. Five D1 commits include Curtiss (RHP - Texas), Bailey (LHP - Clemson), McLendon (SS - Winthrop), Quintanilla (C - Missouri) and Lowe (RHP/1B - Davidson).
Anyone have insight into the Allen and Plano Schools? I am wondering how they stack up with the LISD schools. (8-5a) I think the LISD schools fall in this order when compared to one ANOTHER:!FMHS,marcus, hebron, and lewisville. Wondering how Allen and Plano schools compare to one another.
Any predictions?

Boyd is in 10-5A now. But here is an outsiders opinion. Not really sure what Allen has, Plano and East will be strong and West should be the weakest of the three Plano teams this year simply because of pitching depth. 8-5A should be a great district to watch.

How come on your prediction "flower mound" is the only LISD school capitalized?
Pitching from those four schools will from Marcus with Gill/Lump combo. FM-has Moffitt, Hebron-Clonch.
Out in LF, No particular reason for capitalizing fmhs and not the other schools. I was writing the reply using my nook and my fingers are too big for the keyboard. On another note, I expect Chessir to be the ace of the fmhs staff. He has been throwing 88-93 and has the best stuff. I agree with the Marcus combo Gill/Lump...they should be very good. Clounch at Hebron is getting bigger and stronger by the day and should be hanging around 90 by the beginning of the season. I think the deepest staff out of the LISD schools will be fmhs and the top pair of arms will be Chessir (#1) and either Moffit or Gunter as the #2.

8-5A should be a gem to watch! I printed all the schedules so I can bounce around the district and see the best matchups each week. Gonna be fun!
In 8-5A FMHS, Marcus and Plano Senior should fight it out for 1st-3rd. Plano Sr. is loaded with pitching. I believe any of the 5 remaining teams could take the last playoff spot or slip into the 3rd spot. This is a very strong district and little difference in talent between #1 and #8. An unfortunate injury or a team slump could move a top team completly out of the playoff picture. On the other hand a hot Hebron, Lewisville, Allen, PE or PW could hit their way into the playoffs.
