Given a choice between these two which would you choose and why? Son, a RHP with height, stamina and 3 good pitches has been accepted to both. Don't think we can swing them both - so which would you choose?

I assume you are referring to the Blue/Grey Battle of the States.
My son attended both several years ago and I would recommend the PG event over the Blue Gray. Nothing against that one but I believe you will get more bang for your buck with PG. PG is the larger organization, runs an excellent showcase and I feel is more respected for the evaluations they provide. I also believe you will get more scout exposure with Perfect game.

You can never go wrong with a PG event, whereas, the Blue-Gray events seem to get mixed reviews, depending on the place or time.
PG Sunshine is a showcase, Battle of the States is a tournament(different formats) so you can't really compare them.
With either Blue Grey Classics or Perfect Game some showcases or tournaments draw better talent and more college coaches and MLB Scouts than the others.

I'm not so sure i would consider B/G to be a tournament. It is more like a showcase where kids are brought together with out having had the benefit of training together. Just playing games with a winner takes all, does not make it a tournament.
The PG showcase has the the skills portion, plus the games portion which would be similar to the B/G games. They just don't have an elimination format.
WWBA is a tournament. B/G format is not like WWBA. I'd like to see the winner of B/G play the winner of WWBA 18's or the WWBA World Championship. There's a reason the scout interest at those events are unparalleled.
