Actually it is called the PGCBL because the individual organizations wanted to call it that.
Everywhere someone looks they will see this league listed as one of the collegiate summer leagues. The teams came from the NYCBL and are loacted in some great baseball towns. Some of the teams have an outstanding history and have been involved with collegiate summer leagues for a very long time.

Players must be college players with eligibility left with the exception of two players on each roster. It looks like there are three exceptions on the 8 rosters. So of the 240 players in the league, 237 are current college players.
Personally, I don't care what the league is called, but it is a summer collegiate league.
