Ok ..First I respect the information from the people in HSBBW. You have been there and most of the time speak the truth and pull know punches.
My son an 05 Pitcher would love to pitch and be part of the college baseball experience. He throws 81 to 84, great command of his pitches has a nice change great curve, and throws strikes. He want to go to a larger college(D1) He knows he is thier to get an education first. He scored a 28 and a 1240 on the ACT's and SAT's the first time taking them. His counsler feels he could get a 30 and a 1300.
He pitches on the best summer team in the area. Who plays in the best league and tourney in the Ohio/ Indiana/KY area. He workes with an excellent picthing coach in the off season and tune ups during the year. He is just a good pitcher. " he wins games" When you see him pitch he dose not stand out but after the game you will see he only had 5 hits 1 walk and 3 k's in 6 to 7 innings. (He threw a no hitter 2 years ago and know one new to after the game was over.)
Here is the Million dollor question. is it possible to play for a D1 school maybe be the 14th or 15 pitcher? He is not looking for athletic $$ his grades will get him $$. He would love to play for Ohio University or Winthorp in SC. He has been told buy "baseball people" he could definatley pitch at a D3 or D2 or an NAIA. He is 6'0'' 150 size 13 shoe.
He knows he is not going to play MLB but would love to go to a "college town" and enjoy the whole expierence.
