Is there somewhere to go to work on hitting and workout in summer for a week, month etc? College player whose arm will be shutdown. Looking for the hitting version of the pitching place in Texas that players go for a few weeks or longer to gain velocity. Thx

Cressey in Palm Beach Gardens would be a solid option
Tbpt I saw that but it doesn't say anything about hitting instruction...only pitching...
I’d call and ask them about it. They are doing a ton of everything right now with all the Ivy kids in town. I don’t know what they will do over the summer. I know a couple of their instructors coach the travel teams. Last summer there were a ton of college guys there who were playing in the Palm Beach summer league
Already got a reply from them thanks for the recommendation tbpt
Things are happening fast...almost everything is finalized except living quarters for the month. Looking at airbnb and the cressey guy is getting some options. If anyone has any other living suggestions for a month that are fairly reasonable to thrifty id appreciate it. Looks like it may be most cost effective for me to go with him because he's too young to rent a vehicle
not to be too late to the game but I believe that driveline has a hitting facility in DFW area. I believe that they do weekly/monthly hitting things too. Might be worth checking out.
That’s awesome. He’s going to have a blast. What position does he play?
My son is going to start working out there again as soon as the season ends. Right now he just does hitting.
Thanks used2lurk I'll look into it. Tbpt he's a catcher but has played 3rd all season due to scapular dyskinesis that is taking its time to heal...one of the big reasons I wanted him at cressey. Gonna shut all throwing down for 6 weeks or more after the season ends and go strictly pt. Trying to make cressey happen but cost may be a deal breaker but still investigating all options
Hope it works out for him. It certainly isn’t cheap, and I say that not having to cover travel expenses. Can’t imagine adding that to the cost.
Really the monthly training cost is reasonable but the housing is expensive (airbnb etc) and the pt doesn't take insurance and that's $160 per session. Not complaining cause that place is the best of the best
The milb players are getting their assignments about now and all scrambling for cheap (ha!) housing in the WPB area. This doesn't help matters.
There is a website for monthly housing. Like what traveling nurses use. Maybe broaden out from Airbnbs? Check for a hotel for a monthly rate?
