is this true? is the plate fair?

what if the ball hits the plate and then next hits the batter's leg? batter out?

all bases are in fair territory. Ball hits plate then batter= foul ball. If rh batter crosses plate and leaves the box TOTALLY then the ball hits him = out, but that is practically impossible to have both feet out of the box and get hit with a ball over the plate.
