Couple more small world examples:

Connected with a poster on this board a couple years ago during the recruiting process. Sons end up not only going to same school, but they’re now roommates and great friends

Another poster’s daughter goes to same school as my son.  Turns out, the two are very good friends and the poster actually took my son, and above roommate, out to dinner last semester.

Son is Jack DiLauro freshman at Holy Cross.  I don’t have any HC pictures, here are a couple of my favorite from HS

CTbballDad,

I'll see your "Please Identify Your Son," and raise you one.

I had the pleasure and honor of meeting your boy last month on a recruit visit to the Holy Hill.  Fine young man with a firm hand shake to boot!  He walked well out of his way to introduce himself to my son, and me, and to extend a warm welcome.  It was much appreciated and a sign of the type of the young men Coach Di has in his program!

Yeah, HSBBWeb is a small world!

I just said a few posts up the page that the baseball world is small.  And a few posts into this thread later … son coached against HighChangeUp's  kid in the Valley League and will coach against Roadrunner's kid this spring.  Yup. I'd say small.

So are you coming to Miami?

Possible but not likely as we are in Calif. and have some other big travel coming up early summer.  But I will sure let you know if I'm able to work something out!  Wife has some family in Dayton and I have some family in Cinci so that series might make sense.

Ok Cab, so are you familiar with the rivalry between the two schools?  Also some stuff went down last season that will intensify that rivalry. It should be a fun series provided everyone is healthy on both sides!  Not trying to coerce you or anything, lol. It will be the 1st weekend in April, in Ohio, but Miami does have turf and from what I have seen thus far, Miami coaches play no matter what, cough, cough✌️

We look forward to meeting Jack when we are at HC at the end of this month.  Part of the visit will be the Leadoff Dinner.

I have also texted and talked with Max's dad about HC.

D was in Nashville for ABCA last week so my boy went out to see him.  Had a great time with him.
